What options exist to prevent Google Chrome Frame (GCF) from rendering external URLs? I'd like to deploy GCF within our organization to allow some intranet sites to use modern html features. How can we ensure that all external internet sites continue to render with the host browser's engine?
Scott Weinstein's questions
We're trying to figure out how many licenses we need of a desktop data analysis package which connects directly to our SSAS instance.
I'd like know if it's possible to query the history of connection or queries by user so we can determine who is actively using the software.
I've looked into $system.DISCOVER_SESSIONS, but it seems that it only contains current sessions. I'd like get historical activity.
Any ideas?
We have a MS SQL BI stack which the standards group wants us to move to "WebSSO" which is based on Computer Associates SiteMinder/netegrity product.
I figure integrating the web component won't be too hard, but we have users which connect to the Database directly - currently using Windows Authentication.
Is is possible to itegrate Computer Associates SiteMinder with SQL Server? With SSAS? If so, how much effort is involved?
I put in the effort to move my user's profiles onto a different drive.
I'd like to do an upgrade to Windows7, but I'm wondering how I can import the exiting users on the second drive into the new install.
I know that Windows Easy Transfer exists, but that requires copying the data to other media, is there any ability to add existing users?
I'm looking for a script to restore a SQL Server 2005 backup. Ideally the script will have the following features
- handle backup files on a network location
- Handle different file structure of source and destination server ("With MOVE"?)
- Written in PowerShell
Any suggestions?
I'm thinking of installing Windows7 RC. I'm wondering if the auto-updates along with a production licencense will be sufficient to convert the RC to the RTM. Or will I have to reinstall?
