After the 16 hours downtime of Heroku and AWS we're thinking of how to make our website stay up even when heroku or AWS are down.
Is there something better than just backup the app every 5 minutes, hold a dedicated server on the same state than heroku and in case of downtime edit our DNS Settings?
Through some misconfiguration I've a lot of emails in /var/mail/root and /var/mail/www-data
How can I "loop" over these files and send each mail another time?
How can I count how many folders (including subfolders) I have under an specific folder?
Is it possible to start a screen session, set up an cronjob, and redirect the cronjob's output to the screen session? Would be great to follow the programm's output ;-)
