I have had a samba server running on a linux (RHEL5) box for a while and I have mounted a shared directory on a Windows PC. I just got a new Windows 7 laptop and trying to access the same server, but I am not able to connect it. I get this error:

Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose.

Or, I get this:

\\hostname is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

I can still access the location from different other Windows hosts in the network with my credentials. It's just that I am not able to access this resource from my new PC.

Am I missing something?

I know an activity name. But I don't know in which stream it is available. Is there a cleartool command to find the stream details?

I have a web application running in Windows XP Professional SP2. I am trying to port the application to Windows 7 64-Bit. I was using Apache Tomcat 5.5. Can the same be used for Windows 7 64-Bit or is there a different version for 64-bit architecture? I could not find any such downloads in the site.

Can IIS server (Port 80) and Apache Tomcat (Port 8080) function in the same machine properly without any issues?

Suppose that I try to insert some data into a table and if the insertion fails due to some CDBException, will that be logged in to the SQL Profiler logs?

I am using Windows Server 2003 SP 2 and SQL Server 2005 Enterprise edition

I am creating a "Rebuild Index" job for a particular database and I am successfully able to run the job.

But when I try to enable the "Keep index online while rebuilding" option, the job does not execute successfully and throws out errors.

This is a general networking question.

Suppose that I have a web server in a machine XYZ with 2 or more physical network adapters with IP's A, B, C and D.

If I access the web application in the machine with it's hostname, which IP will be used?
