On my Windows Home Server (Windows Server 2003 really) there is a default web site (enabling remote access etc.) and I'm trying to setup a second site (both on port 80). The default site is using xxx.homeserver.com as its address and the new one is using blog.xxx.no. What happens is that the default site works as expected (and as before), but when I try to access the new one without specifying the document (ie. index.htm) it access the default site. But if I add the document (index.htm) it access it correctly... I have setup the default document to be index.htm and it's on top of the list. I have also set the correct host header for both of them.

Any idea on why this is happening?

We're currently using SQL Server Express 2008 as backend for our TFS2010 install (Basic). Would it be possible to move to the standard (or better) version of SQL Server without any big hassels?

We create all our site collections programatically with a custom site def/template. Everything works as expected, except for the crawler. It's apparently denied access to the sites. The crawl logs says:

http://server.localnetwork.lan/somesites/siteName The object was not found. (The item was deleted because it was either not found or the crawler was denied access to it.)

And in the log files I'm getting this:

If I create a site collection manually the crawler is able to access it. The same users/accounts have the same access on both sites, so that shouldn't be the issue.

The code we use to actually create the site collection looks a little like this:

The code has been slightly altered to protect the innocent... ;)

Any idea what we're doing wrong?
