I have recently setup Exhchange Server 2007. The server is smarthosting outgoing messages. Users have 'request delivery receipt' on by default for their 'auditing' purposes in Outlook.

They would like the original email attached to the delivery notification as was the case in Exchange Server 2003. Ex 2007 does not attach the original message in the delivery notification. I need this same functionality in 2007! The question has been asked here, here and here but cannot find a valid solution.

Here's some information about the functionality in Exchange 2003. The question is, can i replication this functionality in 2007? Here is what a 2007 delivery message looks like:

I know it's possible to customize DSN's. Can I make a custom DSN for this type of message and have the original included as an attachment? Anyone got any other ideas?

There used to be a command line tool called QFECheck in Windows Server 2000 that would list them out. Is this the preferred method on windows server 2003/2008?

I know they're listed in Add/Remove programs, but it's hard to capture them for an audit this way.

Can i do this without having to install an add-on executable?

I remember reading that the algorithm for the key generation had been broken & that there was a software utility available, where if you punched in enough sequences from your physical key it would figure out the key sequence. Where can i get this software???

Running a db mirroring in sql server 2005 sp2.

There is SAN maintenance that needs to occur and i want to know if I stop SQL Server on the fail-over partner (mirror) and the principal keeps doing log backups, will i need to re-initialize database mirroring (with a full backup) if the mirror is offline for several days?

I have a feeling there is some internal limit I've come across before. I haven't been able to find anything online that references this, and i don't have the time to test this because the SAN people (not be be confused with the sand people) want to do this now!

I am not breaking the mirror and bringing the partner online, so there is no break in the transaction log chain.

Apart from memorizing what every trace flag does, is there an easy way to remember what groups of trace flags do. The first digit of the trace flag number looks like it may mean something?

Does anyone know what this first digit denotes?

I'm considering going to Tech.Ed on the Gold Coast (Australia). I was very jealous at many of the teched US SQL Server speakers & presentations.

What well-known SQL personalities will be there (even speculation will do) ?

How similar are TechEd's from country to country? is it a 'word-wide roadshow' with the same people presenting in different countries or is it mostly local Microsofties & MVP's that present?
