Is there anyone out there that has any experience in breaking up a lotus notes .nsf file into smaller chunks or can recommend a solution to do this?
I need to break the file down for processing with one of our e-discovery tools, but the program has file size limitations, so I will need to break the .nsf down into about 6 chunks.
We created images from Windows 7, loaded on a HP Z200 workstation. We have added all our software we need on this image and then, sysprep'ed it. So now, when I push the image thru Zenworks on my 5 other Z200, I get the error message that my copy is not genuine... Normal since it has been imaged with the first PC's PID and Key.
But now I'm wondering how I can modify the information on the imaged computers. Here is what I've done so far.
I can't change the information in the System Information page. It's Not available. -- The Software Protection Service is set as Startup (Delayed)
I successfuly changed the CD Key from the command prompt (slmgr.vbs -ipk (CDKEY)) -- That was when I was not joined on my domain because I got the error message: Need elevated privileges even if I'm domain admin... ¿¿??¿¿
I can't activate it using slmgr.vbs -ato.
So basicaly I'm trying to find a way to activate Windows 7 Pro on my 5 other Z200 with the CK Key that is attached with the OEM sticker on the computer. Is there any tools that can give me a hand? A registry key that I need to mod/del/add?

I have a hardware issue with some of the LCD monitors we have in our office. My problems is not related to video cards or anything else with the computer itself.
I have 2 Dell 17" LCD screens that goes off (blank) after 1 or 2 seconds. The light remains green so it's not idling or sleeping. Just this morning, I had to replace one that goes off on 2 workstations and also on my laptop. Nothing to do with it. I tried the VGA and DVI connection w/out luck.
I strongly think that this is something with a capacitor or something inside the screen but I can't figure out what it is...
Is anybody heard of that kind of issue before?

I just installed the Windows 2003 server administration pack SP1 but I need to set a new GPO but it's not listed in All Programs - Administrative Tools
When I open MMC, I add a snap-in and the Group Policy is available but it's prompting me to add a server... So I add it but I don't have access to it (as per the error message) but it was working last week with my Windows XP... ??????
Is anybody knows how to fix this and how I can use GP Editor in my MMC?

I have installed WSUS on my Windows 2008 server. My issue is the following:
I get the error message: Windows could not search for new updates (80244019)
I am wondering if I need to add my 2008 server in my updating list in WSUS. Download updates from WSUS and at the sime time, update the server itself.
Do you guys know if it's possible to download updates without WSUS for my 2008 server?
No Windows Firewall enabled. No Antivirus software installed.

A user in our company uses Mac OS 10.4 on a G5. She has a CD with Illustrator CS3 stuff on it. She copied 2 folders on the desktop and now she needs to delete both. When she tries, she gets a popup asking to enter Administrator Username and Password.
I just don't get why she can't do that since I burned the Illustrator stuff onto a DVD directly from the server. She was able to open, delete, modify everything from the server but from the DVD, she cannot. I did not change any security settings at all.
Does anyone know about that?

I just installed a Windows 2008 Server on a HP proliant DL180 G5. Since I have installed and setup correctly WSUS 3.0 SP2 for my domain, I am not able to download Windows Update from the Windows update web site.
I always get the error message: 80244019 (Windows Update encountered an unknown error.)
I tried to set 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 as DNS - No luck I tried checking the Registry [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU] but no luck again because I don't have \WindowsUpdate\AU.
Is anyone know what should I do to be able to access Windows Update website from this server?
My OS is: Windows 2008 Server SP2. Intel Xeon E5420 2.5Ghz 4GO Ram 2x HDD 160Go RAID1

Yesterday, I was working on a Dell computer, installed the GPMC and then, I was able to see all listing for Windows Update GPO. I'm trying to install WSUS...
This morning, I use my normal laptop and I am not able to see the full Windows Update GPO listing. I only see 2 of them.
Yesterday, I was able to manage like 15-18 settings instead of only 2 this morning.
Is anyone know about that?
P.S. My AD rights haven't been changed
I have Sharepoint 3.0 deployed on a Windows 2008 server platform. My issue is quite simple for now but I still can't figure it out.
I have added the domain admin group from AD. So all of us can access any site that I've created. My issue is that I created a Sharepoint test user in AD and this one can also access every sites on sharepoint. The only AD group linked to this user is Domain Users.
Is anybody has a tutorial or knows how to prevent or block some groups/users to access our IT and Dev sites?

I am trying to install Windows 2008 server on a HP Proliant DL180 G5. There is no built-in DVD reader so I need to use my LaCie USB one.
When I put the CD in and boot from the USB DVD on the server, I get the error message:
Boot Failed! Please insert boot media in selected boot device.
So I tried with another Windows bootable CD and still no luck.
What I've done then, I copied the installation DVD on my 16go USB key. Again, impossible to boot from the USB Key.
I have 2 147go SAS 15k HDD on my server. They are not showing in the Bios. I was wondering if this is a reason why nothing will boot on it.
I am trying to find a way to deploy Windows 2008 server on my HP server as soon as possible.
