In yesterday, i install a windows server 2008 r2 and enable remote desktop on it. Then from my ubuntu desktop by remmina i could connect ok.

Today, i cannot connect to it by remmina. I check its connectivity by pinging it, That's OK, and also remote desktop is enable.

I search about it too much, and test any changes like change Advanced > security to other modes, Remove ~/.freerdp/unknown_host and ...

How to debug connection problem step by step? and What is the exact problem?

NOTE: I can connect to windows 2008 from another windows(7) client by mstsc without any problem.

On a Debian wheezy i installed KVM for virtualization and install some VMs on it. I use separate LVM disks because of its performance for my VMs disk.

Now i need to clone one of them in new LVM disk. I searched too much for it and i found virt-clone, but unfortunately The virt-clone just clone Vms with disk in files and cannot clone LVM disks. I think it is possible by dd like so:

dd if=/dev/vg_kvm/lv_disk1 of=/dev/vg_kvm/lv_disk2

Is there any more optimize solution? How can i clone my VM which is installed on a LVM disk to a new LVM disk?

In zabbix I have an item which i create some triggers for that on below conditions:

  1. {Server Template:mysql.slowqueries.last(0,1800)}>{Server Template:mysql.slowqueries.last(0)}
  2. {Server Template:mysql.slowqueries.last(0,1800)}<{Server Template:mysql.slowqueries.last(0)}
  3. {Server Template:mysql.slowqueries.avg(900)}=0
  4. {Server Template:mysql.slowqueries.last(0,1800)}={Server Template:mysql.slowqueries.last(0)}

The first one's Severity is define as disaster. when the trigger is run its status is UNKNOWN in Monitoring > Events. What is the problem? why? how to solve it?

I installed vsFTPd for running an FTP server on Debian 7.3 (Wheezy). I checked the vsFTPd version was 2.3.5, and I configured it like so:

listen=YES
local_enable=YES
write_enable=YES
chroot_local_user=YES
pasv_min_port=15000
pasv_max_port=15200
allow_writeable_chroot=YES

I followed these articles for solving this problem:

And many others on Google and forums, but my problem was not solved.

NOTE: I have solved this problem on Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin), but that solution does not work on Debian 7.3.

I really mixed up on it?!
