I found a little trick on how Outlook retrieves mail from Gmail and sort the labels into sub-folders. For that I created a [Gmail] label and nested every other label underneath.

It works for some labels - they show up in Outlook as a neat subfolder including the tagged mails. But others are just getting reverted to their old position, so instead of staying nested under [Gmail], they end up back on the same hierarchy level and thus don't show up in Outlook at all.

There seems no pattern to which labels stay and which get reverted either.

The users are receiving mails from 2 accounts but are supposed to send and reply only from one mail account, disregarding on what account the mail was received on.

The sender account is tagged as primary and the check mark in the sending options is already set "use primary account as standard sending address"

It works for creating a new mail too, but not when the mail is forwarded or replied on the other account.

What options do I have?

I had an issue creating a user in our domain, things are on track now, except one thing: I had to manually add the [email protected] entry with the Exchangemgmgt console. Most users don't have the recent entry in their copy of the GlobalAddressList in outlook, so mails send internally are failing. Other user, who see the new entry have no issues whatsoever.

I tried forcing an update via powershell "get-globaladdresslist | update-globaladdresslist" and manually re-requesting the addressbook in outlook, but this didn't do the trick.

What can I do so everyone gets the info?

I had some issues with creating a new user in our domain. The exchange mailbox of his was corrupted and I had to remove and recreated the profile.

It's working fine now, except the user cannot receive internal emails, the sender always gets the error message

The email address for this and any other of our users goes like this: [email protected] . myDomain is an external mail provider, but the same address is used for internal mails.

Sending mails to [email protected] works on the other hand, but this would be confusing to use, just for this one domain user.

I've checked the other topics with the #550 error, but none of the solutions there worked for me (no address book isue/NK2 file issue)

I'm a bit at a loss on where the mail name gets resolved for internal routing, or whatever causes the issue.

**I've noticed that the faulty user has 2 entrys in the attribute "ProxyAddresses", one for the external address, one for the local. Had to add the local one via exchange manager, because it was missing. But on all clients, and the global address book, the new entry is still missing. I forced and globaladdresslist update, but it's still not showing, might this be the issue? **

This is the PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller von LSI Corp.

There are 5 HDD running in a raid 5 and raid 1.

The SSD isnt supposed to be in any RAID activies, I just want it to pass through and show up in Windows. Its not listed in disc management but in the configuration mask of the RAID.

Its listed as Ready, whereas the RAID drives are online. The configuration parameters for this drive are very limited, I can only configure the LED to on/off and declare the drive as hotswap.

How can I make it accessible in Windows?

We just got a call from a US telephone number (001-, didn't get the rest of it) with an automated voice, stating that someone had sent spam mails from a server located in Berlin.

I didn't take the call, my colleague just got the first part of the number and a firm name (Something with ~computer network~ in it) It didn't seem like scam or spam, the voice just was informative with no chance to interact.

We did in fact sent our last newsletter (1,5 months ago) through a firm, located in Berlin. But all recipients opted-in for it and would not regard it as spam. We do this ~4 times/year. But it's the first time we didn't send them through our mail server.

So I would like to know who contacted us about it from the US and is this a common method to inform ? I would definitely prefer an sample e-mail sample to check some things for myself.

As disk space is getting very low on our virtual server I wanted to expand the the VHD with the appropriate Microsoft wizard. I changed the size from 160 to 200GB, started the server again but still the drive is only 160 in size.

Though checking the size with the Hyper-V when the server is offline states that the disk size is 200GB as configured.

Any idea what could causes this?
