How can i log DNS requests sent by clients to a windows DNS resolver without using the debug log file technique?
It can be a windows 2008+ only solution
edit 1 - some additional background: i already have a complete infrastructure to gather and correlate my event logs, and would like to know if it would be possible to leverage it without needing to setup another system/agent to gather the debug log.
For incoming emails to a postfix server, i would like to record the timestamp in the "Receive: from" header.
For example, from an email containing:

What i would like to know is how to configure postfix to log that information (just the timezone or the whole "Received: from" header). I can handle the parsing to extract the information once i have that line logged.
I would like to list all machines names from a domain and their current ip if they are online. I am thinking of using dsquery on the domain controller to list all machines.

This configuration works fine to allow relay mail locally and on external destination domains, but i would like it to be an impossibility to send to other domains (ie: gmail.com).
relay_domains is supposed to ensure that but it does not seem to really filter since i can still send to my gmail address.
