I'm configuring SQL server 2005 reporting server to send emails outside the domain. I have followed the steps outlined at MS but have a question:
How can I supply a domain user to connect to the Exchange server in the same domain? I've tried
<SMTPAccountName>DOMAIN\User</SMTPAccountName>
in the rsreportserver.config.

I've setup SQL server mirroring, using 2 SQL server 2005 standard editions. When the application is being stressed, response times increase 10-fold. I've pinpointed this to the mirror, because pausing the mirror shows acceptable response times.
What options are available for achieving better performance? Note that I'm using Standard Edition, so the excellent High Performance Mode is unavailable.
The server are in the same rack, connected to a gigabit switch.

I have a working Windows Server 2003 (Small Business Edition) and I'd like to create a virtual machine of this installation. I'm planning to use MS Virtual Server. How can I get this done?
