I am running windows 2012 with Remote Desktop Services
How do I get my local windows 7 pc comport to redirected to an application running on the windows 2012 server.
(I have enabled all local devices and resources in the more tab – of local resources in the Remote Desktop connection)
I use
Mysqldump –u root –ppassword databasename | 7z a -si -t7z outputfile.sql.7z -mx9
To backup my Mysql 5.1 database on my windows vista system.
Question:
How can I restore the database without first having to expand the 7zip file?
I have spent most of the day optimizing a Mysql 5.0.x database – now I need to get the changes on to the production server
How do I make a backup of table’s index settings and then restore them on the production database server?

Why does Windows Vista have two programs to remove viruses:
Windows Defender and Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (MRT)
Does this program automatically run? If so, when and how often? Is it automatically updated? How do you disable it? How can you tell if it is running? What versions of Windows is it installed on?
