Is there any way to make a resource mailbox visible to a specific user group only?
We've got a meeting room which should be only bookable and visible by a small group of persons. Unfortunately it's not an option to just hide it in the adressbook because this way there is no possibility to check the rooms calendar.
I need to perform a small inventory in our network. So I wrote a VBScript which I wanted to deploy with our deployment system. My problem now is: The script is executed in the context of the AD system user.
So this lines:
Set objNetwork = CreateObject("Wscript.Network")
strOutput = strOutput & ";" & objNetwork.UserName
Wont return the logged on user but the AD system user running the script.
Does anybody know a solution for this?
I just implemented an ADFS server to connect a third-party chat tool with our Active Directory via SAML 2.0.
Everything works fine so far but there's a little problem: As soon as a user logs in, the chat tool creates an account for him automatically. That's a problem because every account causes fees.
Is there any way to restrict the ADFS usage to an AD Group?
