According to Intel the CPU does have VMX and EPT support. Why is it not showing up in coreinfo?

I'm not be able to install MSI packages downloaded from the Microsoft Reference Source Code Center.

The package installs first a compressed file that gets decompressed by the custom action. The custom action is an executable copied to the temp folder. McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0i prevents any program to be started from the temp folder.

How can I turn off this behavior?

By the way, McAfee VirusScan Enterprise protects its services, so I (as an administrator) am not be able to stop the services.

Windows Vista has an application-level volume levels for sound devices. There is a Speaker (master volume), an "application" Windows Sounds and further applications.

The WSUS administration console shows computers with not installed (critical) updates.

To be clear:

• The computers report their status every day.
• These updates do have a deadline that has already been elapsed.

I assume that these updates have been hidden locally before the computer is joined to the active directory (after joining the AD no user can decline/hide an update with a deadline).
