We have launchctl jobs loaded on the snow leopard server. Somehow, every few days the jobs gets unloaded and this is causing our periodic jobs not to run. When I logon to the machine, the jobs show up again as loaded in launchctl list.
Did anyone see similar issue before?
I use innodb_file_per_table configuration parameter. I want to archive some old tables. If I shutdown the database and move the ibd and frm to archive directory, innodb shows warning that table.ibd is not available. Is there a way to move a table away from database?
I have a mysql database master and slave in production. I want to setup additional mysql slave. There is around 15 Terabyte of data in the database and there are MYISAM and InnoDB tables in the database.

we are using Mac OS X Snow Leopard server for mysql database, and it reboots once in a while. This happened once every month for the past 3 months. I looked at syslog and dmesg and I don't see any errors just before the reboot. How should I go about diagnosing the issue.
We have a 64 bit mac os x server running mysql. The machine has 48 GB of ram.
Top shows as below.

One of the queries doesn't complete for 20k rows even for > 12 hours. I think thrashing is going on because the available physical memory free is 21M only. But the query completes in a minute for 2k rows.
All the tables references in queries are myisam but 2 tables are innodb.
As memory is the concern, here are some mysql parameters that are memory intensive.
key_buffer_size = 12G max_allowed_packet = 1G innodb_buffer_pool_size = 8G myisam_sort_buffer_size = 64M
Can someone tell me if there is anything wrong with the configuration.

I have to configure apache webserver on our production server to host two websites and enable SSL for one website. I am confused with the documentation found on the web. I am mainly confused between httpd.conf, apache2.conf and sites-available. for example, httpd.conf on my machine is empty.

I requested an Amazon EC2 instance and sometimes it hangs. What could be the possible reasons for the server to hang? Is there something that can be done or detect before it hangs? Are there any good opensource monitoring tools which could detect this and take a preventive measure.
