I need to know in advance when a timezone change will occur. I need to know when UK's GMT turns into BST and vice versa.
I don't want to find out what my current timezone is and I don't want to change it.
There must be a way to query the timezone database stored on linux to find out this information.

I'm getting quite frustrated trying to setup https access to our bitbucket server.
Following bitbuckets documentation isn't that helpful.
So far I have the executed the following commands
Firtly, I created a certificate signing request and sent that to my certificate provider and they have sent me a certificate.
openssl req -new -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -keyout domain.key -out domain.csr
At this point I have 3 files, domain.key, domain.csr and a ssl certificate provided to mey, domain.cer
I then tried to create a keystore with the following command
keytool -genkey -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA -keystore ssl-keystore
I was prompted for a keystore password and I provided one.
I then tried to import the certificate provided to me.
keytool -import -alias tomcat -file domain.cer -keystore ssl-keystore
and got the following error.
keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Public keys in reply and keystore don't match
I'm a complete ssl newbie and am relying on following website instructions and am at a loss now what to do.
I've got a WBMR-HP-G300H Buffalo Airstation router on which I've installed the lates OpenWRT software.
All is working well (ADSL, WIFI etc) except for one niggle. I can't communicate between lan ports. i.e. if I have one computer connected on lan port 1 and I try to ping another computer on lan port 2 then I get "destination unreachable".
I can ping both computers from the router itself and can also ping each computer from a seperate laptop connected wirelessly. All computers are in the same subnet range (10.0.0.?/24).
I suspect that I may need to configure a vlan on the switch but everytime I try and do this with various google'ed configuration I keep freezing out all lan-ports and I have to revert back using a wirelessly connected laptop.

I have a PC in our server room which dual boots to windows and linux.
Obviously when we need to reboot the box we can get onto which ever system it is running and reboot.
However, I cannot select the OS to boot at the bootloader for obvious reasons.
Is there a way, other than installing a KVM, where we could replace the bootloader with something that accepts an ssh connection and lets me boot accordingly.
I can't believe I'm the only person who would find this useful.

I'm trying to establish if my linux kernel is using sysenter/sysexit instructions to initiate and terminate system calls from user space.
The kernel I'm running is "2.6.31.12-174.2.3.fc12.x86_64".
Any Ideas?
