I am planning to create a hyper-v environment for testing, I need to have something similar to the following:

Group 1

DC 1
WSUS 1
App Server 1
AV Server 1
Client xp 1
client 7 1

Group 2

DC 2
WSUS 2
App Server 2
AV Server 2
Client xp 2
client 7 2

Group 3

DC 3
WSUS 3
App Server 3
AV Server 3
Client xp 3
client 7 3

When I need to use it it will run by group , no need to run 2 computer groups at the same time.

can this be done, and if I have a resources that will run a single group only can it be used to do the set up above, since they will not run at the same time.

How can we have single MSI file with different configuration for each user.

So when I push it, the configuration will be according to the username.

i have a hyper-v server and connecting to it from win 7 machine through hyper-v manager.

If i ran the wsus server cleanup wizard. and i remove the computers not contacting the server for more than a month.

if the computers contact the server again will it re-appear in the wsus console

i have an issue with my wsus server, when i run a report for a specific update i got that its installed for some clients, not installed for other and for the remain i got no status.

when i check the client i find that the required update is installed.

if i check another one from the clients with "no status " i found that its not installed.

please suggest or drop any comment, since i got this entire environment after the previous admin resign with no document left.

I have a network with almost 2000 pc, on each of them i have an application installed for monitoring and mgmt, i need to check a specific value in each agent on the 2000 pc, which cant be checked unless you enter each pc and check the properties of the application !

is there any way to automate a process, script to do this.

as far i know the rdp session is 2 session maximum in win 2003, is there any way i can connect 3 remote session concurrently ?
