In Ubuntu 22.04, when I do gio mount google-drive://<my email> I get "volume doesn’t implement mount".
I used the Online Accounts Settings dialog to log into my account, I have gvfs, gvfs-fuse, gfvs-backends and ran the daemon, I tried to use dbus-run-session.
In my other laptop, a 20.04, the mount works fine. Not sure where the difference lies.
Trying to use duplicity to list files in a backup that is in google drive. I get the error as in the title.

Bash has <(..) for process substitution. What is Powershell's equivalent?
I know there is $(...), but it returns a string, while <(..) returns a file the outer command can read from, which is what it expects.
I'm also not looking for a pipe based solution, but something I can stick in the middle of the command line.
say I run a command that outputs space separated values over lines. Some of which are numbers. Is there a utility I can use to calculate the mean, median, standard deviation of these numbers? something like 'cut' but that outputs these statistics.
The hard limit of the number of open files is set to 1024 on my machine.
So how can I increase the setting for the limit of open files without reboot?
I'm trying to install winswitch on CentOs 6. It requires nxagent. But in centos, the package name is nx. Is there a way to tell yum to skip checking the nxagent dependency (I installed nx already)? Specifying --skip-broken skips the whole thing.
I want to use zookeeper in my cluster. I have a few questions I did not yet find answers in the documents.
I want to have a management node in the cluster where the main zookeeper resides, and then have zookeeper on some nodes of the cluster, as failover.
What is the best practice for nodes to get the URL of the management node? I can't hardcode this since there can be serveral instances of the cluster in the data center (so a dns name is no good). In other words, is there a discovery mechanism?
When the management node crashes, how will the client nodes know to contact the failover nodes? Should they be able to read the same configuration file to know what are the servers in the quorum?
When setting up a quorum, is there a best practice to generate the myid files? So each node will self-discover its id?
I'm looking for a command line tool that acts as simple http "server" in that it can print the requests made to it to the console and reply with 200. In particular, it needs to support POST commands.
I'm unfamiliar with how processes are killed in Windows. In Linux, a "warm" kill sends a signal (15) which the process can handle by instantiating a signal handler. A cold kill is signal (9) which the OS handles by killing the process forcefully.
How can I "kill" a process in Windows? How is it handled by OS and by the process? What actions does OS perform? Is there a cross-platform way of responding to a kill/close request?
I have a server that listens to simple tcp sockets. If connecting to it, it prints a prompt and I can type commands, hit enter, see (and save) results, and then have the prompt again. I'm using telnet right now to connect, but want something more console/shell like.
Specifically, I'm looking for a tool that only sends what I've typed when I type (meaning, not every character I type), and so allows me to edit the line in the client side. In telnet, if i write type 'foo' (without quotes) and then hit backspace and type 'o', the server gets 'fooo', which it can't handle. I want the backspace to be handled in the client, so the server sees 'foo'. I also want history handling.
