I'm trying to add arguments to the JVM using the Java Control Panel. I am able to edit the Runtime Parameters field in the Users tab, but not the Server tab (see image). The Find, Add, Remove buttons are greyed out. I've tried opening the Windows Control Panel as administrator and I've gone to the JRE bin folder and ran javacpl.exe as administrator and it's the same behavior. Anyone come across this?

I feel silly for even posting this, but when I open the EMC, go to Organization Configuration/ Mailbox/ Database Management -> click on one of the databases, I see the member servers and their database copy status.

Now, I go to View/ Add Remove Columns... and I add in the Content Index State column. When I close the EMC and reopen it, I have to do it all over again!

How do I keep this setting?

I have the SMTP service installed on Server 2008 R2. Under Domains, if I go to properties, under Route Domain, I have the option to forward all mail to smart host and I currently have one address [nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn].

Is it possible to have more than one address here? [nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn];[nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn] or [nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn],[nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn]?

I want to disable logons before I do maintenance on a single server in the farm. If i run change logon /disable will that disable logons on that server or will that disable logons on the entire farm? The docs http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX564871 don't really specify, though there is a link to another article on the bottom that has a VB script for presentation server 4, but I'm on XENAPP 5.0.

I'd like to monitor how many SMB connections there are at any given time for my 2008R2 file server, but when I add Redirector/Current Commands in perfmon, I get 0 results. This KB from Microsoft isn't exactly helpful either: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2523382 It mearly confirms there is an issue, but doesn't provide a work around.

How would I go about getting the current number of SMB connections?

What I would like to do is grant permission for a domain account to log on to any server/workstation and be a local administrator with having to add this account to domain admin group?

This account only needs to be able to read folder sizes on all folders on a workstation/server.

Is there a GPO for that?

In a windows 2003/2008 mixed domain, is it possible to find out where on the network a particular account is logged into?

The account keeps getting locked out, and we think the account may be logged in somewhere, but we don't know where.

I'm trying to connect to another IIS server and I know the windows firewall is turned on on both servers. I'd like to be able to create an allow rule, but what port does IIS 7 use to connect to another IIS server?

I'm using Freesshd and putty's psftp to transfer files. Now, I can use get ex110111.zip and it works. But if I try to use a wild card get *.zip, I receive an error open for read: permission denied.

How do I use the wildcard to get all the remote zip files?

I understand that a SQL server named instance will default to dynamic ports, and I know HOW to change that to a static IP:

I'm seeing many occurrences of "Error: Failure in loading assembly: MyAssembly, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=Token#" in my sharepoint farm's web front end eventlog.

I've read this article: http://blogs.msdn.com/suzcook/archive/2003/05/29/57120.aspx but I am prohibited from installing any SDKs or utilities by our sys admins.

The assembly in question is in the bin folder of my app and is identical across the farm. The sharepoint log file (in the 12 hive) lists the same error as above without further information.

Any suggestions on how to diagnose?
