I want to disable IPV6 in the new Centos6 virtual server I have just setup in Xen. I have already followed the instructions here and then rebooted/restarted networking.

Update: followed the below, that seems to have worked, but now it hasn't picked up an ipv4 address?

I have a linux server, which is reporting as having it's disk full, but as far as I can tell- the disk is not full, a df -h shows this:

This is a virtual server (using Xencenter), which has 2 drives, 20gb & 40gb mounted on it. If I look at the / I can only see approx 12gb in use, so where has the rest gone?

We run Citrix XenServer's here, and currently have 3 production servers with approx 10 server running on each. It would be very useful if we could somehow export a list of the virtual servers, even just the name of each- as it's starting to get difficult to manage. I can't see anywhere in Xencenter to do this?

I am trying to access the SMB share which resides on one of my linux development servers, whether I type \\servername or \\192.168.0.100 (it's ip), I get asked for the username/password and then it gives the error:

"\\servername not accessible. You might not have premission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The specified network name is no longer available"

I am able to access this from my workstation or another Windows Server 2003, but not from either of our domain controllers (also Windows Server 2003)

On a new install of Windows Server 2008, I attempting to use ssh to connect to another host. I have installed putty/openssh. This works without a problem when trying a command such as:

ssh 192.168.0.2

However, this will crash when trying something like:

ssh testserver

with the error as follows in the windows event viewer:

I have an AMI which was created from a base AMI on Amazon. I would like to bring a copy of this internally to run for development. I have downloaded the .manifest & part00-50 files (approx 550mb) from my S3 bucket. Unsure how to convert into my local Xencenter however.

I have checked google, and nobody else seems to have tried this as yet. Any suggestions would be great.

I am having a rather annoying problem within Exchange 2003. At the moment, mail comes in on [email protected] which is picked up by a public folder which everybody has access to. This is auto forwarded (in delivery options) to [email protected]. This works perfectly fine, however, somehow an email will additionally get sent to other email addresses, these are people that have left the organisation, and therefore have no user account, nor email addresses. The email then bounces back to [email protected] which is auto forwarded to [email protected].

This has become very annoying, and I cannot find where this is occuring in exchange. My last thought is that somebody has setup an outlook rule (client/server side) which auto forwards these emails to these non-existent users. If this is the case, is it possible to find out which user has done this?

I have a client requirement to encrypt all outgoing email from a linux server. This can be done using any software, sendmail/postfix etc. They have given me the key they want to use, and want all forms (using php) to be encrpyted. Can I set sendmail/etc to encrypt all emails? This could be done with the same key for all mail.

Something is setting (the incorrect) time on our network- though I don't know what it is (since we have approx 40 servers). We run on a windows network, with AD etc. Not sure where to even begin to start looking- as far as I know, we don't run an NTP server in house.

Any advice?

Recently we have moved some of servers from real servers- into virtual servers. Since then, we are getting errors like the following:

Error category : Resource ErrorsError : e000fed1 - A failure occurred querying the Writer status. For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-65233

This is happening on the virtual servers and also the real servers now.

Looked on google and found some information- like running "vssadmin list writers" however none of these are showing an error.
