Is there a way to setup simple faxing, as simple as emailing a document?. Also to multiple contacts at once and to predefined mailing lists.

We have had several cases of file deletion in one of our windows file servers. Server is also a domain controller. Unfortunately we kept the auditing disabled completely due it being such a resource hog.

So I was wondering If there is a way to audit a specific folder for a specific security group, for just file and folder deletions within the specified folder.

Also, is there a recommended third party application for auditing or monitoring.

So we have an analogue Alkatel PABX system in our little office. We have extensions, direct lines and PBX lines.

We are trying to move to a more digital/flexible way of handling the phones and I've heard good things about FreeSwitch. I have zero knowledge about it.

My biggest question is how would one handle existing phone lines with such a system. Surely there must be a way to make and receive calls from outside.

Just a help in the right direction would be fine.

Is it possible to block just the web chat service and still use email service using iptables and squid or using either one of them?

I'm trying to make it possible to access a webserver on another network (A) from my local network (C).

They have a router on our end which I cannot access directly to make any changes, If I connect the cable(B) from this router to a pc I'm able to access the webserver with proper IP configuration. But obviously I cannot connect the (B) to main switch as it needs IP configuration.

I want the whole local network to be able to access this webserver (B).

Access I mean as in through browser. Internal proxy is running fedora with squid which is connected to the internet, and only means of access to the external webserver is through (B).

I hope it's clear, with that super diagram and all.

EDIT: Let me know if it's possible by editing router configuration too, it's a juniper.

I want to move all the domain information from a windows 2000 server to a windows 2003 server (they are separate machines) and then promote the windows 2003 server as the primary domain controller. Is there an easy way for this?

If possible make windows 2000 server as the backup domain controller.

I have a server running windows 2000 right now, will upgrade to 2003 pretty soon. Is there a way to check the user status and pc status?

For example,

• If the user is idle
• If the PC is locked
• How long the user has been logged in

Doesn't matter if it does not work in windows 2000, though it'll be great if it does.
