How should my DNS be configured to satisfy this step?

this is a brand new instlal of server 2008, exchenge ina new AD install.

I'm trying to install Windows Server 2003 Web Edition on a Dell Poweredge 2850.

I've configured the RAID following these instructions:

However - when i hit enter to install from the windows install media - it just says it can't find the disks. Is there anything above and beyond what is mentioned in that post or should this just work ?

As the title. I have just created a new VPC but it seems i can only launch new instances into the VPC?

Am I missing something?

I know this can be done using Hyper-V but is this possible using vmware or something similar with OSX?

Is there anything in particular I need to configure to get the users statuses working? All the users seem to be offline no matter what.

Chat seems to work fine, but obv it's not ideal not knowing who is online at any one time.

I have hMailServer set up on my windows server 2008 machine.

I just started noticing in the logs that there are a lot of entries related to people trying to send external to external mails (obv spam?) through my machine.

I've not set the server to allow ext 2 ext mail delivery. It did look like it was all coming from one ip range but now it's from all over - is there anything I can do to stop this?

The ip ranges seem to be in the same range but it's only the first byte that's the same - it comes from 2 ranges by the looks of it - i'm not at my server but it looked like 114...* and 214...*

Might be wrong with those but you get my meaning. I was looking at using IP Security Manager to stop those IPs even hitting the mail server

is that advisable? being that they are such huge ranges?

If it is advisable - how do you specify a range in the ip security snap in?

We've just bought a 10 user Jira license - happy as larry.

I'm a reet n00b to Jira, one of our guys is fully versed but away atm. One question I have is:

is it possible to allow the public (our beta users) to submit bugs somehow without using up our user licenses? They just need to be able to submit bugs, viewing status would be great but not essential.

this may be one really obvious thing - i just can't see it?

I have hmailserver set up and accepting email for projectattack.co.uk domain - I can connect to the server through port 110 pop3 using both gmail and mail.app on osx

I have a cname pointing smtp to projectattack.com and have opened port 25 to accept incoming traffic: smtp.projectattack.co.uk

My server hosting company provide a relay and no auth is required as they only accept messages to relay from ips in their network. This relay has been configured in the administrator app under Delivery of Mail/SMTP Relayer

My server has a static IP

I can't make my email client connect to the hmailserver for the outgoing smtp server.

Is there something above and beyond what i have mentioned here that I need to configure?
