We work on our projects locally, and deploy them on remote servers for testing. This is currently done via git commits/push/pulls. But the problem here is that most of the commit contain errors and/or break the code in significant manner due to the lack of testing.
Is there a way we can deploy the code on the remote server without using git commits, or some sort of temporary commits or patch or any other mechanism? And only commit, whenever it is important.
I have been reading about KVM and Qemu for sometime. As of now I have a clear understanding of what they do.
KVM supports hardware virtualization to provide near native performance to the Guest Operating sytems. On the other hand QEmu emulates the target operating system.
What I am confused is to what level these two co-ordinate. Like
I need to choose a Wiki. Please someone help. Following are my requirements:
1) Need good control to the access variables
2) LDAP integration support
3) User Group Support
4) Good Themes and Templates
Mediawiki has the problem that it does not support Users Groups that intutively. Twiki and Foswiki have a problem that any authenticated user that has write permissions for a topic also have the write to change the particualar permissions for the topic.
Else, can someone suggest me where to look for the answer. I know about the WikiMatrix
How can i finalise the preferences in foswiki so that no other user except the admin can override them.... thnx in advance for replying
