company's corporative rules prohibit us to implement something new without successfully passing all the tests in the test lab. Right now we have two nodes with Hyper-V Server 2016 on top. I've installed in our lab three Windows Server 2016 Datacenter edition. Each server has five SAS drives and we'll purchase a few SSDs for the servers. Right now we are testing our infrastructure and we are looking at Storage Spaces in Windows Server 2016. So the question is, can we deploy Storage Spaces Direct with help of SCVMM? Also, do we actually need SCVMM?
