I have enabled LUKS full disk encryption on an LVM volume while installing centos6.6, however it asks for a passphrase every time the OS is rebooted.
I am now trying to use a key file according to this post. Unfortunately it does not work...and still asks for the passphrase.

sda2 /dev/disk/by-uuid/0e7815c0-0941-431a-a6d2-cbe78132d292 /root/keyfile luks
Any ideas of a better solution to remove the passphrase and use only the keyfile?

i then enabled

My question is if selinux is in permissive mode will selinuxtype=targeted enforce any polices?
if not how did it solve the problem with apache as selinux was already in permissive mode?
I have configured 5 libraries on the HP D2D system
Discovery on the Bacula server shows only the last library and not all libraries. Why?

the server is running out of memory and get to the point where it starts killing the process, the total PSS memory(actual memory used from the Resident memory) consumed by top using applications is less than the total memory on the system, i want to find out where this extra memory usage is happening? any ideas, below are the output from meminfo,smem,free -m,

I have a server running multiple instances of mysql and also has the zabbix-agent running.
In zabbix_agentd.conf i have specified:
UserParameter=multi.mysql[*],mysqladmin --socket=$1 -uzabbixagent extended-status 2>/dev/null | awk '/ $3 /{print $$4}'
where $1 is the socket instance.
From the zabbix server i can run the test successfully.
zabbix_get -s ip_of_server -k multi.mysql[/var/lib/mysql/mysql2.sock]
and it returns all the values
However the zabbix item/trigger does not generate the graphs, I have created a MACRO for $1 which is the socket location

currently i have selinux linux enabled (enforcing) , disabling it makes ssh passwordless login work.
i have set setsebool for ssh the following settings

i created an amazon ec2 ubuntu m1.small instance and then created an ami to back it up, when i loaded that ami as a spot instance and booted it, it did not have any contents in /mnt parition.
So while creating ami backup why did it skip /mnt? is this /mnt part of EBS??

i setup apache on amazon ec2 instance with ubuntu
i using the document root set to the /mnt/www/domain.com/htdocs
i get these errors on the apache logs when any file is accessed.

what could be the issue?
I fixed it myself, i had earlier enabled chroot module in apache config and after diabling it worked..
i get segmentation fault when i try to ssh to a server, the ssh works in sudo mode but not at user mode.
these are the strace bits where the ssh breaks

the server keeps crashing due to apache, is there any way i can stop this, the server has 2GB swap space and 3GB ram
