How do you add a certificate from the personal store as a certificate based credential in Windows Credential Manager?
When I click on Open the Certificate Manager it just takes me to the Certificate Manager and there is no way to actually select the certificate to be added as a certificate based credential.
It doesn't make any difference what I type in "Internet or network address". When I press "Select certificate" it just asks me to insert a smart card.
Is it possible to take a backup or image of the shadow store created by the Windows Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)?
Would Windows Backup include this data when doing a backup?

What happens if an MSI installation is set to install as per-user, and 3 different users log on and each install the app? Will Windows Installer recognise that the same MSI has already been installed into Program Files and therefore it doesn't need to install it again?
What happens if one of the 3 users then uninstalls the app while they are logged in? Will Windows Installer recognise that 2 other users still need the app to be installed and therefore leave alone the app folder in Program Files?
I am about to give deliver an upgrade to a product in the form of an MSI to an enterprise. I believe they deploy this to various workstations via GPO.
What is the likely sequence of events in performing an upgrade to a product in this setting?
Will they use GPO to uninstall the previous version of the product first and then deploy the new MSI?
Or will they expect the new MSI to automatically uninstall the previous version?

EDIT: I am not interested in wireless access points in this question. They need to be secured of course but this is obvious. Wireless access points are unique in that communications are broadcast for everyone to hear. Normal wired internet communications are routed to their destination - only machines in the route will see the traffic.
