I have 4 file servers that I want to access under a single mount point from another server. This server has a web application that should serve content from the mounted point. I think I can achieve this with glusterfs.
Considering that the file servers have fairly powerful hardware, I want to install a webserver on each of them and serve those files via a reverse proxy.
Any thoughts on how I may be able to do so?
Is there a way I can view / log the email content sent by sendmail?
By default it only shows some header information. I wanted to inspect the actual email content.
My machine is running Fedora 13.
I have a web application that runs a program which needs X. I'm using xvfb to launch it; I want to run it as another user.
I could probably do sudo -u username -p password my command. However, I'm not feeling too good about storing the users password in plain text.
Is there a "smarter" way of doing this?
I installed ruby 1.9 on my fedora 13 machine from source. I want to go back and use the older 1.8.6 (which I'll install with yum), unfortunetly it appears that I can't simply uninstall my current version by "make uninstall" (make: *** No rule to make targetuninstall'. Stop.`).
Is there any way of doing this other than removing each individual file?
