Ports 161/162 are in use by a java software, so the requirement is to use 163 for net-snmp

Trying to bring snmpd up

RAID5 config with mdadm and 4 disks

After some incidents, eg one of the drives was lost, had to reboot the server and rebuild the array, my raid is in a funny situation

i'm setting up an apache2 server based on debian squeeze. I want to serve multiple websites using multiple IPs. Some of them need a certificate (one certificate for every website).

Well, my server has 3 IPs (let's say 0.0.0.0, 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2)

i've already set up multiple vhosts for the 0.0.0.0 and 1.1.1.1 IPs, one of them uses the ssl certificate

now, i use the following scenario. One of the folders being served is /home/apache/SITES. What i want is when a user hits http://2.2.2.2/mysite to be redirected to https://2.2.2.2/mysite (that serves /home/apache/SITES/one) and when he hits http://2.2.2.2/my2site to be redirected to https://2.2.2.2/my2site (that serves /home/apache/SITES/two)

So far i use this configuration.

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

  • Server, 2 NICs, eth0 to port0 of router. (172.16.0.240)

Everything is OK with the above setup.

Now, eth1 of Server connects to gigabit switch. DHCP3 on Server is serving requests on eth1, using this configuration

Clients get IP, but are unable to access other ports of the router (PC1 & PC2) or the Server itself (either on 172.16.0.1 or 172.16.0.240). Also, they are unable to access the internet.

Right now, i'm unable to do anything on /dev/sdc. Is there any way to try to re-attach it? I don't want to power-down the server unless absolutely necessary
