I have the "manager" role on a google shared drive, yet I am unable to add files or folders to it.

All options are greyed out on the (right click) context menu. If I try to drag and drop - it gives the message, "you need to be a manager on {shared drive} to move to this folder".

I already have the manager role, and can confirm this by checking "manage members".

What could it be?

It seems that Slicehost DNS doesn't offer AXFR, but it does have an API.

I have about 20 domains in Slicehost DNS and I'd like to automate the export process if possible.

I've been trying to figure out how to export the records as zone files, and I tried this but it doesn't export the full zone file.

Can anyone recommend a way to get the full zonefile out of slicehost (or avoid having to manually re-enter them into DNSmadeeasy).

I am configuring a VPS which is running on openvz as an OpenVPN server using a tun interface.

I am having some trouble with the iptables rule as MASQUERADE is not available.

If MASQUERADE were available, I would write the iptables rules as follows:

iptables -A FORWARD -m state --state RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -s 10.8.0.0/24 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -j REJECT
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 10.8.0.0/24 -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE

However, given that I am not able to use MASQUERADE, how can I rewrite these rules using SNAT or DNAT instead?

Thanks to Olipro for the solution. Here are the rules that worked for me:

iptables -A FORWARD -m state --state RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -s 10.8.0.0/24 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -j REJECT
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING  -s 10.8.0.0/24 -o venet0 -j SNAT --to-source 1.2.3.4

Where 1.2.3.4 is the public ip address of the openvpn server.

I have a bunch of files who's filename follows the pattern 'filename.ext'. eg:

filename .ext

I would like to rename all of these to remove the space before the .ext. eg:

filename.ext

I can find them all using

find * -type f -name'* .*'

but how can I then rename all these files?

I am configuring a backup server using Dirvish which will backup several Ubuntu servers over the Internet.

As part of our security policy, we don't allow ssh logins as root on our servers.

How can I use Dirvish to backup my servers, without logging in as root, and without providing the dirvish user with NOPASSWORD in sudoers?

The ideal solution should involve minimum configuration on the backed-up, target machines.

Help me here.

I once used a utility (written in Python, I think), that is for sharing files across machines using HTTP.

It creates a tiny web server + URL which is good for one single GET request only, then it shuts down.

This allows you to GET a file from another machine using HTTP.

Please can anyone tell me what this command is?

I'm running redmine (a RoR app) on my server using passenger / Apache 2.2. Passenger and ruby are using way too much memory.

Is there a more memory effective way to run redmine/ruby?

I only need to support a half dozen redmine users. I want to continue to use Apache, but I'm open to all suggestions that aren't "use nginx/lighttpd" instead.

(The following data is from a 512MB VPS, so Ruby is using more than 128MB just for redmine)
