I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise SP2 server, on which I am sharing a folder. In the folder is a file that I am trying to read and import the data on a SLES 11 SP1 server. If I view the file on the Windows server, I can see the entire file. If I view the file on my Windows 7 PC, I can see the entire file. So I think the sharing is fine, since I can view the file on my PC. However, when I have the share mounted on the SLES server using cifs, the file sometimes has part of the last line cut off. Is there some configuration change I need to make (either on the Windows side or on the SLES side)?

JonathanMueller's questions
I have two SLES 11 servers. One has my Informix 11.50.FC6 database. I installed the IDS engine on my other server so I could get dbaccess. I have entries in /etc/hosts.equiv and I can use dbaccess as a normal non-root user, but when I try to run dbaccess as root, I get the following error in my Informix log:
Client host or user root@app is not trusted by the server.
Any advice?
We have a networked printer that is connected to a HP-UX Unix server. We switched identical printers and setup the new one with the same IP as the old. Users can print from Windows fine to the printer. When a user tries printing from Unix to the printer, they get six copies of the same file. Any ideas?
