I enabled IIS but I can't add connections to IIS 7 in windows 7 ultimate. Under File it just has "save connections" which is disabled/'greyed out' and exit.

What are some good links.articles on how to white list, with flexibility, IPs connecting to MS SQL server. (using win server 2008 r2, if it matters) Thnkas
EDIT:
I want to be able to whitelist IPs conecting to MS SQL Server via the firewall. I need the method to be "Flexible" so that i can change the list frequently. why? because i noticed recently in the database logs that there was an extreme number of failed login attempts from people just trying to brute their way in.
So any information on how to do this would be great. So far in the firewall i know know how to whitelist or blacklist single IPs per rule not entire lists. furthermore i would like to know if this will accomplish what i want. Again Thanks in advance
Im "new" to SQL Server and i want to start doing backups of all my data. Whats a good starting place? are there any good tools out there for this? Also i'd like it if i could have backups that could be potential loading into another instance of SQL Server on a separate Server incase our current one "dies"
i think this has been asked before but i just cannot figure this one out. I have added a global.asax file to my project (using asp.net with c# from vs2010) and works great on my local machine. then when i publish to our site (i publish to ftp site and then copy from the ftp folder into the site folder overwriting old files) and it doesn't work... at all. i am using 'windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise'. any help would be great
I'm running Windows Server 2008 R2 (via Rackspacecloud) and now that I'm going live I'm just curious if there are any security settings I should "turn on" or other settings I should tinker with to make it 90~95% secure?
