I write batch file and i want to compare the modification time (timstap) to two folder and copy the latest one . i don't know if this option available directory be cause i don't know .so i want to get the date and store each part in variale to compare it

Example :-

get date date 11 5 2011 11:10:57

day=11

month=5

year=2011

hour=11

min=10

secnd=57

I use PSCP command line between two server but I have the following problem :

I have a windows box in a domain and how do I write the command line with domain user ?

pscp.exe file.txt DomainUser@hostIP:"d:\folder"

for example :-

user:- hi

domain:- welcome

hostIP:- 10.10.10.10

I use %0 in batch file to get the containing directory of the batch file but the result is :-

c:\folder1\folder2\batch.bat

I want just directory, without batch file name, like this :-

c:\folder1\folder2\

How can I do it? Maybe I should filter the path. If yes, how can I do it?

i use rsync tools between two server but it seem rsync make synchronous between servers according to file size and i need to make synchronous according modification time please how i can do it

for example file in date 2-3-2011 then updated on 5-3-2011

i want rsync to take the latest one 5-3-2011

1. incremental_backup
2. full_backup
3. execution

Now I want another bash script do the following :

if (date is the start of month 1/-/----)
then     
    invoke `full_back_up`
else
    invoke `incremental_backup`

when i execute it on cmd the following appear on screen :- c:\user > command1 c:\user >command2

i dont to appear anything when i execute batch file

I have the following case :- I write a batch file bbb in Windows 2003 and put a return value = 3 by exit /b 3 then I execute this batch file from Unix by this command :- ssh -l admin host 'cmd /c start bbb' but when I print the return value I get ( 0 ) not ( 3 ). I print this value by echo $?. Now how can I get a return value "exit code" from Windows batch?
