how can I optimize the server with following configuration. It takes too much time to load a page.
IBM X3200 M3 Server - 1 Intel Xeon Processor with 4 GB Ram

I have 2 ethernet eth0 and eth1 on my server. The default gateway is set to be eth0. I need to connect ip 10.10.6.2 using fsockopen in php. The ip 10.10.6.2 is routed through eth1 (I have a rule set on route-eth1). When I try to ping that ip from system I am able to get a response. But when I try to fsockopen that IP from php I am getting timeout error. I have also enabled allow_url_fopen from php.ini

I have a web server with installation of Cent OS 5.6, cPanel/WHM. Currently the server have 2 ethernet and the configuration for both is listed below:

Current default route is eth1 with gateway 192.168.86.1
Now what I need is to set eth0 as a default route for all connection except for 3 IPs (10.10.6.2, 10.10.6.3 and 10.10.6.4). I also need to set route for those 3 IPs from eth1.
eth0 is connected to optical fiber for internet connection whereas eth1 is connected to a DSL router for intranet connection
so can anyone help me to set this properly and permanently?
I currently have 2 servers, using cPanel/WHM. The first one is a VPS hosted in London (we'll call it "international") and the second one is a dedicated server located in my country (we'll call it "local").
"local" will have unlimited local bandwidth, however it will only have 1Mbps of international bandwidth.
I need to host a single website (or maybe multiple websites) on both servers and serve the visitor based on their origin country. I mean, when the visitor is from my own country the data will be served from "local", and if the visitor is from any other country the data will be served from "international".
Both types of visitor can perform read/write operations on the servers and I need to sync files and databases between both servers, as both server will have updated files and database.
So, how can this be possible regarding the DNS and synchronisation? Or what's easy and possible? Can anyone guide me with the steps I have to perform?

UPDATE: The issue was with mounting 2 hard disks. So I removed one hard disk and installed Cent OS 5.6 which works fine now.
How can I install git on CENTOS 5.5 machine? I tried to install it from yum but got following msg.
