As it is lab, we can add Ip address of agent to master hosts file.But if I have 1000 agents(partly windows and Linux machines), we can't add each and every agent to hosts file of master.How to manage there? I am from a windows background, please treat me as layman and guide me.

With local console, typing "hive" launching the console directly without any password.

But, when I try to connect using dbeaver/beeline, it prompts for username/password.

I tried with

• hive/""
• ""/""
• mysql metastore username/password.
• entries mentioned in hive-site.xml

But none of them are working, Even I tried all the steps in this link

What might be the default username/password, please suggest. Or do I need to configure anything to access like this through jdbc?

When I try to import windows 10 image to MDT, I am getting below error. Even with local folder or with mounted iso file.

Please suggest how to fix this,

The error is "THe specified source directory doesn't contain install.wim" But this is the iso file I downloaded from msdn and working with manual install of OS.

I am able to setup a basic SFTP server and create 2 users customer1 and customer2.

And each will get their own root folders.

Is there anyway to create shared folders between them and with both read-only and read/write mode.

Please suggest.

We have some service which need elevated rights. And by default, they will be running in root mode. But customer is asking to use normal user instead of root.

So, I added to wheel group on centos, and tried to run the background executable to check rights, but still showing as "Must be run with root permissions".

It means, it didn't get the rights exactly.

So, please suggest me how to change the service to user with root rights instead of direct root user.

I searched for many links, they are showing only for centos even though the title is for RHEL also.

My OS details:

I ran this to add repo

sudo yum-config-manager --add-repo https://download.docker.com/linux/rhel/docker-ce.repo

THen this

sudo yum install docker-ce

But giving this error.

I am trying to create docker container for one of the centos service created by us.

We have 2 rpm files.

After installing on base image of centos 8.

I installed those 2 rpm files in it.

But, when I try to start the service, I am getting this error. when I ran systemctl start <service_name>

System has not been booted with systemd as init system (PID 1). Can't operate

Failed to connect to bus: Host is down

Based, on the feedback of different posts, I tried creating container with below steps.

docker run -it -p 8080:80 -p 16700:16700 centos

docker run -it -p 8080:80 -p 16700:16700 --privileged=true centos

Both same issue. Please suggest.

We have a service mapped to the web application.

So, we need to allow 80 port and 16700 for its backend service.

During login, it will connect to this service for authentication and other parts of data.

in firewall, we allow these two using

firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=16700/tcp firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=80/tcp

If I disable selinux or set to permissive it is working. If I set enforcing, it is not working.

So, I added below for 80 port. setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect on

But, it is dailing the login attempt still, because of 16700 port. And adding this 16700 to the http_port_t also doesn't work. semanage port -a -t http_port_t -p tcp 16700

And this 16700 is not there in bool also.

Any suggestion, how to enable this port in selinux?

OS: Redhat 7.4

I have installed Redhat version 6 and 7 both.

Both have the same problem.

No IP address.

WHen I checked, no network interface also.

ip a s

only shows loopback adapter.

I am able to see the network adapter and set static ip to ubuntu on the same hyper-v server

We have a docker container which can service only one request from user at a time. So, we want to scale up and down whenever there is a request from user.

But in the docker swarm I can see only setting number of containers for a service as static by just providing the number. We need like whenever there is a new request from user a container should scale up if existing container is interacting with other user/session and destroy once the session is complete or scale down.

Can anyone, please suggest how to do that.

Connection properties: allowPublicKeyRetrieval=true useSSL=false and true both tried

In the esx 6.7 version, there is no template creation option.

I tried this link, but no options available as shown.

This is for creating templates, these options also not visible. Please suggest. FYI, I am using the root account and it is a licensed version.
