So this question is again on the table. I have tried to get my answer from forums documents but I wasn't able to find the desired answer.

So, Here is my question I have created a mail server with postfix now what I want is to create quotas for a particular user to send only located number of mail I mentioned. So, for example, if I had 3 users

User1@domain.com 30mails

user2@domain.com 60mails

user3@domain.com 30mails

So these should be the rules and after users send the number of mails they are assigned they should be blocked for a certain time which also I can mention.

So I had proxmox installed but boss decided to install vmware esxi in ovh vps so this is the scenario. I have a server which has esxi and I have purchased a bunch of Ips from OVH since I want to have public IPs for VMs in the esxi host. So in Proxmox I had something like network configuration for routed network.

By far what I have done is

Created a VM then placed the interface of the VM in switch0 and management network

The IP is as given by OVH 

IP: 101.96.187.49
gateway: 101.22.12.3  [vmware esxi host]
DNS: 8.8.8.8
|
Ip block provided by OVH: 101.96.187.48/29
 

After this I can ping the gateway

Since I cannot use bridge interface as OVH restricts multi mac from its interface. So is there a way like routed network for esxi kindly assist

I have a Proxmox setup in OVH I have purchased 8 IPs out of which 6 are useable So I want that my virtual machines are reachable from the internet.

The Ip block I have purchased

53.87.160.116/29

Ip from OVH to the Proxmox machine

44.63.32.23/24 it is received via DHCP

This doesn't work any suggestion

So i have Been Trying to achieve a scenario but i am not being able to fix that hope someone will come up with the solution

so basically what is want is

I have two server publicly accessible So what I want is

I want if any client tries to request a service lets say a udp service i want it to be redirected to server B

SO the configuration i have is

iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -d <This pc> -p udp --dport 9987 -j DNAT --to-destination <Redirecting server>
iptables -A FORWARD -d <redirecting server> -j ACCEPT 

sysctl -p
net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1  

I can access the other server from outside and from my box there is no limiting policy in the redirecting server or just say destination server

The packet are being matched in the iptables rule

My Requirement lets say i have a http server on a location And i have another server in different location i want to just make that what ever hits my this server with a request to 80 it should be redirected to another server at port 80 ignore the ports they might be different but the scenario is same

So i have been trying to make a mail servddder which is functioning fine now what i want now is i want to limit the amount of mail a mail user can send I have tried and failed with policyd I also posted a question for a topic but didnt got any response thought that If any of you guys have the solution to d so

So, basically what i want to achieve is I want to limit 2 email every 5 minutes per user hope That make it clear

So any suggestion about how can i do with That

Today i just ran into a problem i just wanted to ask a question to all of you

I have just install kvm in my system and i have some how managed to get a node installed and working in the system Now what i want is i want to host a server in the node

I have access to the KVM host server with its public ip (eth0) The only interface

Not i have a public ip to give to the node but i am not understanding how to do it

Every time i make a bridge connection between eth0 and new br0 interface it fails and i lost my connection

So how can i acess my kvm node from outside world any tips i am very new TO KVM so plz do help me with the steps about how to link what network
