We're running a single domain on a single Exchange 2013 server. I'm currently trying to determine what kind of SSL cert I need.
Right now I'm unsure why I need a UC (Unified Communications) Certificate like this one.
I can understand why something like this wildcard certificate would be necessary.
Any direction would be helpful!
Fairly stumped on this one.
I've got a Hyper-V 2008R2 server hosting several server VMs.
We're looking to migrate to newer hardware and we want to run Hyper-V 2012.
I've picked up a Proliant ML350 G6, multiple processors, lots of RAM, RAID10.
Installed HV Server 2012, setup a couple windows servers on it everything runs great.
Until I try to migrate a Windows 2003 server over from the 2008R2 box. This VM needs to communicate with a Netware 6.5 server via IPX.
(I know. Netware 6.5? I'd get them to dump it if I could, but its a long story.) Anyway, for some reason this server moves over just fine, can login to AD, get access to everything with the exception of the IPX resources.
I'm currently just trying to use the CSNW included with 2003, thats been working fine for years on the 2008R2 server, I'd like to avoid adding in the Novell client if possible.
I've tried removing and reloading the integration components, reloading SP2, doing a repair install of 2003 and so many other things I can't even remember.
TL;DR: How can I get a VM running on Hyper-V Server 2012 to communicate via IPX to other network resources?

My new Hyper-V host is running Hyper-V Server 2012. The guest in question is running Windows Server 2003 R2.
This guest has been running on a Hyper-V Server 2008R2 platform for several years and communicating with a Physical Netware 6.5 server exclusively running IPX.
After moving the guest to the new host IPX communication has been unable to function. the IPX protocol loads fine, no errors, but when we try to login to the Netware box we get "The network path was not found."
The main question is:
Can I perform a Virtual to Virtual Conversion from one Hyper-V Server to another Hyper-V Server?
Why I need to convert instead of a myriad of other options:
We've got a RHEL 5 server that somewhere along the way someone took a snapshot of. The snapshot has gone unnoticed for...oh about 9 months. The snapshot is about 800gigs. Other than the massive snapshot everything is just running beautifully.
If a hardware/software/network layout would help in the answering just let me know.
Currently we're running OES 2.0.1 / SLES 10.2 and I'm trying to figure out how to track when users log in and out of the system. I've been googling around for a couple hours and all I can find is that Novell discontinued an addin that would do this back in '09.
So the question: How can I track user login/logout times in OES 2 / SUSE 10.2?
EDIT: Sorry, I need to be able to track logins via the Novell Client/NDS, these users don't actually have linux logins associated with them.
Right now we're using the enterprise product from Aspera. We've got a license that covers only 10megabits of throughput per connection. We're looking at migrating away from Aspera as their licensing costs are a killer to get us up to 100megabits. I've been looking around and cant really find any alternatives. Right now we transfer something along the lines of 500gb a day in and out. I'd prefer something from the FOSS camp but I'm not against purchasing something Windows based.
To provide you some background on our hardware config.
(2) BL495c Blade Servers - 2x 6 core Opterons, 128gb RAM, Storage is all on HP MSA2300 FC arrays, about 10TB of data in total. Everything is running on Hyper-V Server 2008r2.
So with all of that out there the question really is:
What software/methods do you use to provide highspeed file uploads/downloads to your clients?
Edit: I'm dealing with mostly non technical end users who all live in the Windows world. So I'd like something browser based with a fairly simplistic user front end. The back end can be as technical as necessary. I think the only real requirements I've got are performance capability of approx 100megabit file transfers, user quotas, and possibly connection throttling.
Ok, heres the situation I'm trying to resolve.
We've got two ISPs each providing a block of 5 static addresses.
Right now we've got a pair of Cisco 2610 routers managing them. Things were mostly running fine, then we added additional bandwidth that the 2610 cant handle.
I'd like to replace them both with a single system running PFSense to give us a single management point as well as some flexibility.
I'm providing various services distributed across both connections, Email, Web, VPS, etc.
I'm attempting to do this with what I've got on hand and if things work out well budget in new hardware down the road.

Right now I've got it up and running and doing some basic port forwards and managing some of my non-critical services, on only one of the connections, and things seem to be working fine. What I need to do going forward is where I'm running into problems. I want to start migrating some of the VPS over to it.
Right now I think I can see several ways of doing it, I'm just looking for some tested methods to help me minimize my downtime while I test/migrate.

So we've finally migrated from our old Netware environment to a virtualized OES2 system.
Everything is working with the exception of time sync. On boot the time syncs up like normal. But I very quickly GAIN lots of time. About 15 seconds per minute. The only easy resolution I've found is to run a cron job every 2 minutes to sync the time against an on premises time server. This works fairly well as far as the day to day functionality goes but its a bit aggravating.
On the same host we're running 8 Windows Server VMs that are all working fine with no additional configuration.
