I have a set of files on my webserver produced by duplicity software:
Backup has been made without encryption.
My current hoster haven't duplicity on his server and don't want to install it. How can I unpack these files using remote SSH access? Maybe there is some bash-script available to do that?
On my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I can't do anything with the existing instance of MS SQL Server 2008 R2. It was my mistake to uninstall some components related to SQL Server before running the main uninstaller.
Now the uninstaller seems like doing its job and reporting "All done", but in the end nothing happens, "\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server" folder still has 700 Mb of content. Reboot has no effect.
How to remove SQL Server 2008 R2 manually?
I don't get it. Why did they set such limitation? Just want to know the reason. Maybe it can be hacked somehow?
After moving my website to the new Ubuntu Server 10.10 it started to work with errors. I know the problem is in the PHP compatibility. Insead of fixing the website I prefer to downgrade from PHP 5.3 to PHP 5.2 this time.
How to do that on Ubuntu Server 10.10? I have found the solution for Ubuntu 10.04 but seems it won't work anymore.
I have to migrate from MS SQL Server and now creating a new ORACLE database with the data partially got from my old tables.
For that I need to get the data from dozens of tables as unicode CSV or TXT files, with fields separated by "|".
The bad thing is the default export master of MS SQL Server can export only single table at a time, and it takes a considerable time to configure export options for each table. I started to export them manually but I got an attack of nerves at the 10th table.
Do you know the way how to export ALL the tables into csv or txt from SQL server?
