I have followed the steps mentioned at https://http2.pro/doc/Apache but my website still only serves files as HTTP/1.1. I can see that the mod_http2 is in the config with no errors on restarting Apache:

LoadModule http2_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_http2.so

And that the site has a fresh SSL cert from LetsEncrypt and the Protocol line in the site config Protocols h2 http/1.1, but Chrome still only shows that the files are served as HTTP/1.1.

Is there a step that is missing? Thank you.

Versions: Apache 2.4.27, Ubuntu 16.04.3, PHP 7.0.22

I just ran an update to Ubuntu 14.04 on my web server. It went super smooth and I thought all was well, but I just noticed the inner most pages of my Wordpress site throw an unusual error.

Access denied for user 'www-data'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

The username 'www-data' is only the linux username for apache, which is not anywhere in the website code. And all the upgrade commands were run as root as well. I am at a loss why MySQL is trying to use this user on single post pages when it is provided my correct Wordpress MySQL user by PHP and works for every other page correctly.

The biggest updates were the Ubuntu core and Apache from 2.2 to 2.4. I found this post which sounds like a similar issue, but also has no answer. (nagios mysql check using unexpected user after upgrading from ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04)

Any help/thoughts? Thank you!

Someone setup a server and has FFMPEG is trying to encode a video and it has effectively killed the web server. I didn't set it up but have sudo access and need to kill FFMPEG so that the web server starts responding again. How can I do this? Thank you!

It is an Ubuntu 11.10 server with a standard LAMP stack.

Basically for a Facebook tab I have a PHP app and want Heroku to use the 'public' folder as the web server's root folder instead of pointing to the very root of the app files. Any help would be awesome as it seems Heroku doesn't have a ton of documentation around it's config options. Thank you.

I have an environment setup on a system I am not in control of and mod_deflate is entering about 3 lines in the error log for every request. They are only the debug level but for some reason the people in control of the server will not disable that level of reporting and the amount of traffic to my site is enough that it crashes the server from all the log entries.

Is there a way to tell mod_deflate not to write to the log or something else I can do on the site level via htaccess or something?

I am on a fairly basic RHEL LAMP server. Thank you!
