We host our application on Heroku. I'm wondering what can I do as a backup plan when Heroku doesn't work.
If I keep a backup of everything on Rackspace, when Heroku goes down, can I change to Rackspace in the moment? Any idea how that's done?

I have a VPS running a simple python scripts. However, sometimes the script crashes. How can I make sure the script starts agian?
I have a script running python script.py in a new screen but sometimes the script gets killed:

How can I protect the script from being killed even when I close the console? Shall I use & or nohup?
What options do I have to parse the e-mails that have bounced? I am receiving the bounce notification from e-mail servers but don't know what to do with it.

Can I have several wordpress instances running in a single Amazon EC2 instance?
Each one with a different URL.
When I send an e-mail to a user, most of the times Yahoo user, and Yahoo returns a bounce to my Gmail account, that bounces comes most of the time truncated.
What's my problem here? Is in Gmail that truncates the messages, if yes, how do I fix it, or it is because of Yahoo?

Can any server handle it?
How can I point the DNS in order to have /blog and / in 2 different servers?
One of them is on PHPFog (PHP hosting) and the other on Heroku (Rails Hosting).

Ans was wondering how do they know the 'response time' information regarding the site. The GET request does not give that information.
Is it possible to create an Apache or nginx server which simulates the response codes I want? If it is, how hard is to setup and accomplish that in Mac OS?

My father has a small company: 10 PCs running Windows, 1 running Windows Server 2000 and 1 Fax/Printer.
I want to remove the server and make the network based on an Online server. Can I do that? If yes, how? By using a Windows VPS? Linux VPS with VMWaRE? I'm not sure if that's a viable option, if there's other, please tell me.
