I am currently running a SharePoint 2007 Farm.

I have a subsite (http://server/sites/hr/finance) that I wish to move to its own site collection (http://server/sites/finance).

I exported the subsite using stsadm -o export. Then I created the new site collection (http://server/sites/finance). Then I attempted to import the site using stsadm -o import.

However, I'm getting the following error: "The file cannot be imported because its parent web does not exist"

I am running as the Site Collection administrator.

The farm is MOSS 2007 with SQL Server 2005 backend.

I have a brand-new machine that we just installed Windows Server 2008 Enterprise on about two months ago. In the event log, I am seeing thousands of EventID 1035 logged. This is MsiInstaller reconfiguring about a dozen products over and over, looping about every half-hour.

Has anyone seen this? As a beginning, I did a general web search, and most solutions revolved around Dell System Center or Google toolbar being installed as the culprit.

We have neither of those products installed.

I am attempting to use a Mac Xserve running 10.4.11 to access a file share on a Win2k8 machine, but it's failing due to Kerberos authentication errors. Any ideas how to fix/update a Mac?

As an aside, this is the first Mac I've dealt with in 20 years, so it's all new to me.

How do I get a list of GPO's applied against a machine in a Win2k8 environment remotely?

I would prefer a powershell solution, but anything will help.
