I have Server 2012 as Domain controller and DNS server.
Now if I have a machine joined to the domain, they get all servers names defined in dns zone.
I have a Windows 7 client which is not joined to the domain, but I want it to get the IP of the DNS servers.
I tried manually putting the IP 192.168.0.100 in the DNS of the network adapter, but it does not get the IP of the DNS servers.

I have many local virtual machines for building the django websites. I find it very hard to configure all the machines with mod_wsgi , python and all that installation issues.
Is there any way that i can install even python 2.7 , mod_wsgi etc and all that inside the virtual environment folder so that i can just copy paste that folder in my live server and i don't need to mess with mos_wsgi , python 2.7 and other issues.
Is it possible or even any close variation of that so that puting the site to live servers is very easy and everything which is needed by site should be included locally
I also face many problems when i need to move the django sites across servers
In initially installed yum install mod_wsgi and i think it was linked with python 2.6
Now is there any way to link it with 2.7

Is there any way i can implement QOS in windows 7 by any software. I have PC where i download data all day. I download all data from one site. I want that when i visit other http site then i get the full bandwidth and that download gets least prioroty but when i finish that then download gets full BW.
I know i can do that in cisco router but i want to know if that can be done via any software in windows 7
I have one directory called apps/cache. When a script writes some files to that directory those files are owned by the nobody user. Of course, then those files and folders are not editable by any user.
Is there any way that I can change the user nobody?

I have Linux VPS server 2Gb RAM but when i usee ssh then it is very slow. Sometimes it takes many seconds to see the character typed.
I tried free -m and it says 1670MB free
I tried top command and there is no command having high cpu usage. only sshd is using 0.3% CPU.

I have my live sites running on Linux VPS. Now i want to install Django on that. I just want to make sure that will it be safe. Will it interfere in current php sites running with apache.

I have htaccess applied to some folder. When i open that folder using web browser then i get user/password prompt. If I enter wrong password , the i get some apache error.
But the problem i am getting is that even if i refresh the page i keep getting same error. Sometime i want to enter that again but keep getting same page without any user/password prompt. Looks like that user/password is stored in cache and it enetrs automatically.
is there any way to stop caching that details
I have different folders which i want to prevent access . But i don't want to separate for different folders.

I was doing backups in bash and I have written few other bash scripts as well. I wanted to shift it to python because I needed to learn python for AI techniques and I was always delaying that. As I have to do sys admin things very often, so I thought if I do things in python then it will make good at python. Now I am confused with few things
1)I have seen that I can do things in 1 line in bash but in python I need to write 15 lines of code for that .e,g making the tar ball backups. sed, awk can filter files in line where in python I have to write many more lines. So my questions am I going on wrong path. Is python really used for sys admin things or not. For me its like making a 5 pages static website in J2EE rather in plain html.
2)I want to know how why should person choose python if bash can do everything. I am only talking bout sys admin things.
So I need to know am I over killing myself by trying to use python or is it just because I'm still learning that I'm finding it difficult?
