Recently we were unable to log into ECP, after successful login we a re redirected to de login prompt, on our two Exchange servers and no configuration change were made, we are using a wildcart cert on them and running in an hybrid config with Office365.

After trying recreating ECP et backend directories and checked the auth settings on them the problem still persisted.

So i went on throwing a new exchange server in the party, and then when i set the wildcard cert on it , i got the redirect loop as for the others servers, i reverted to a self signed cert to access ECP.

At our main site we are running at 2012R2 (forest/domain) functional level and we currently have migrated our mailboxes to Office 365 using an exchange hybrid configuration with ADFS and Dirsync.

We are actually planning to deploy RODCs in some of our remote sites on servers running 2008R2. This force us to rollback AD functionnal levels to 2008R2.

Do you think if doing so would cause problems with Office365/ADFS/DirSync beside loosing Workplace Join in ADFS?

For testing purposes i frequently run OpenBSD in VmWare, before version 2.0.x, tweaking the vm type and using Freebsd compatibility mode made the job but this does not work anymore with VmWare server 2.0.x.

Does somebody know a way to make vmware tools work on a virtualized OBSD host with VmWare server 2.0.x?

In our testing environnment, we use openwrt running wifidog client and gateway, we can not make the access point part of the DMZ nor use VLAN isolation on the productions sites.

Say the access point is 192.168.0.253 and the gateway/dns is 192.168.0.254, does putting a /30 subnet mask to the wired interface of the AP would provide a secure isolation of the acess point (the AP does packet filtering as well)?

Any recommandations for this setup are welcome.
So by the way if you have deployed an opensource solution for a Hotspots network, what did you choose and why?
