What I need to see is the TCP messages sent to a port for a given IP. So for example

127.0.0.1:11000

How can I see all the TCP messages being sent to that port?

This has to work with Windows, either Windows 2003 or XP

I have tried WireShark, but I don't know the proper filter.

The soluiton does not have to wireshark, but the solution must cost nothing.

I am using Oracle Database 10g. Both Servers are Windows 2003.

I have an Orcale Database set up on one server.

Here is the TNSNames.ora from the server with the database.

I am trying to connect to it from another box that has Oracle Client installed.

Locally on the database server I can connect to through sqlplus with no issues.

On the client machine I keep getting the error:

 ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

What am I missing? Does the client TNSNames.ora need to be different?

I have been asked to find a way of preventing IIS from making conditional GETS (So the web server will always return 200 OK or an error if there is one). Is there a way to do this?

I am using IIS 6 in Windows Sever 2003.

I want to be able to type some executable from the command line in windows and have it run, regardless if I am in the folder where the file is located.

How do I set it up or install it so that I can just type someProgram and have it run regardless of my folder location?

What is the windows command prompt command to copy files?

I need to move a file from location A to location B. Also if the folder for location B doesn't' exists I want to have it created.

I need this to be a command line so I can automate it.

The version of Windows is XP.

I am using Windows XP pro, and I need to know if something is registered on a port.

If so how can I tell what is on the port?

What I mean by registered is that I am trying to test a .NET remoting application, and I need to see if the application is running or registered on a given port.

In my environment I need to copy a database from one server to another. Usually a QA machine to my local box.

I do not have access to QA machine. I can connect to the database, but not RDP into the box.

What is the best way to copy the database from the QA server to my machine?
