Given the Windows Server 2012 charms disconnecting from a server seems difficult outside full screen. Win + C is required to disconnect from the UI.
Can one assign a special key to real-time delegate recipient of windows commands - or must that depend on the application full screen?
I am trying to use the feature "Create a Report in Microsoft Excel" for Visual Studio TFS 2010.
I am being prompted for a username and password in Excel for any given Team Project when right clicking the item "Active Tasks", selecting "Create a Report in Microsoft Excel," found in the following path within the Team Explorer pane, from Visual Studio 2010:

I am a Team Project Administrator and Collection Administrator. I checked The SharePoint site:

and have full sitewide and project permissions on this site.
I loaded SQL Server Management Studio on the machine running the instance of TFS (and also the SQL backend for TFS) and ensured that I had roles "serveradmin" and "sysadmin".
How do I run this report? Specifically, what permissions are required?
We have some phones that are enforcing encryption of the sdcard. Currently this issue has only presented with the "HTC Rezound." Below are the settings in Exchange 2010. The only differences between the default policy and the current policies are within the Password Tab and shown below.

SharePoint users are complaining that after logging they are not able to download files. All the files on our site are Microsoft Office files (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). I've recreated this issue: a user logs in with username and password, the user click the file and instead of prompting for a save location the applicable Microsoft solution loads. The problem is that the Microsoft solution doesn't load the file, but prompts again for a username and password but the authentication fails, and the file doesn't open. Right clicking the file and clicking Save As always work.
Telling users to Save As is not desired, and asking them to change browser settings is unacceptable since users may not even have rights to do this at their institution.
Is there a way to set the links in SharePoint to default to "Save As" or is there some other workaround for this problem?
I made changed to security groups within AD, and when I go to the GAL in Outlook I noticed that the changes were not reflected, even after forcing an update by clicking Send Receive | Send Receive Groups | Download Address Book.
So I checked the Exchange Management Console and noticed that the changes are not reflected there even after forcing a refresh. Do I need to force an update push from AD somehow? If so, how do I accomplish this?

I don't know if there are two sets of groups that are named the same for convention or what. I am thinking I might have changed the wrong one Sorry if I am not explicit but this is not my expertise. The group I had changed was within ADUaC under
**.com\CustomOU\Groups\Distribution Groups\Security Groups*
The group members match the group I am attempting to rename in the GAL for Exchange. In Exchange these groups are found under
Microsoft Exchange On-Premises\Recipient Configuration\Distribution Group. Display name to rename (dgA) within this container is in OU
**.com\Users*
But the group (dgA) isn't found direcly within **.com\Users* so i did a Find within the domain and only found the one within **.com\CustomOU\Groups\Distribution Groups\Security Groups* which is what I changed.
If there is a concept I am missing here please let me know.
I can't seem to find the redist package for this software. download.live.com loads an exe that downloads appropriate packages on the fly, but I would like the MSIs for Messenger and the Outlook Connector. Any suggestions?
I am running a website in ASP.Net using the development server, which is insanely slow to load a page with no apparent reason since it is fast in production. Are there any tips to speed up the ASP.net Development server or alternatives to using it?
When I run nslookup using our (it defaults our domain NS as the source of information) I get different results every time for known computers on our network.
Can some one explain if this is normal, why it is normal? Or if it needs to be resolved the next steps?

We have an extra Windows 2003 Server that I am hoping can be used to speed up development process on a web site we're producing. We are trying to reduce lag time from our really slow ASP.Net local Development server by implementing a development server that hosts a dev version of our website though IIS. I have multiple questions surrounding the possibility of doing this.
Environment: Spare server (WinServ2k3) named "Spare" Visual Source Safe (3 Users) holds our solutions on server "VSS" Visual Studio runs on client A,B, and C Visual Studio publishes releases to an externally hosted hosting service.
I'm not sure where to get started. I know I could setup IIS to mirror what our production IIS server looks like. But how would I change our debug to point to the development server? And how do I propagate change to the development server through use of VSS (if some one else checked a file in, that change should be reflected in the development server).
Our asp.net development localhost servers just runs insanely slow.
