I use eBox/Zentyal as Gateway and Infrastructure. I do filtering of sites. OpenDNS only works if I'd set HTTP Proxy enabled. How about without the use of HTTP Proxy.

I'd try to configure and add 208.67.222.22;208.67.220.220 at forwarder section at /etc/bind/named.conf.options, but it doesn't work after sudo invoke-rc.d networking restart.

I want to block p2p and torrent connection without any firewall or server-side software installation.

Most of all it is FREE.

At the time that we are using Windows Server, Kerio Winroute Firewall strikes the best.

1. Powerful Firewall.
2. Load Balancing and Fail over Features.
3. Bandwidth Limiter, limit to each host.

The question is, Are there any Linux Equivalent of Kerio WinRoute Firewall?

At our institution we had connected 300+ computers to different LAN's with Internet. Included here are Officies LAN, and Internet Laboratory for students. And we want to Control Torrents or any P2P Protocols. Previous solution to our problem is KerioWinRoute 6.5.x, which satisfies most.

The problem is, we have migrated to Ubuntu 8.04 LTS using Webmin Platform.

I have clone NTFS Partition for how many years, but Ext Partition of Linux not ever since. To those who have experience with this, any comment either bad or good.

Why is it that Secured HTTP Connection (https) is Slower then than typical HTTP (http)?

Webmin 1.470 Platform is Cross Linux Compatible, but there are some issues regarding bug. The question is : What Ver. of Ubuntu Server Distor is Webmin 1.470 fits for?
