Unix alternative for LDAPAdmin

I am looking for a Unix alternative for LDAPAdmin(Windows). Our OpenLDAP runs in Solaris and I can't browse it directly from Windows due to firewalls which won't be relaxed. Currently I use crude JNDI programs(ran from Solaris) to fish out data which we want.

I cannot directly query OpenLDAP in Solaris due to user permissions which are lacking and won't be granted. Thoughts? :)

[Btw no GUI necessary. I access Solaris thru Putty]

Will JSP Modification remain after Tomcat restart?

A war file is deployed in Tomcat 6 on Solaris 10. antiResourceLocking is not set to true. A change is to be made to a JSP in the application folder(exploded from the war file). No restart is made.

If Tomcat is restarted inadvertently, will the JSP change made earlier still be around or would it overwritten from the war?
