What is the best way to get CommVault log data into Splunk? I don't see a Splunk app developed for CommVault, and CommVault generates a lot of log data. It would be extremely beneficial to collect and manage it with Splunk.
Has anyone successfully done this?

I have a Compellent SAN that I am trying to point to my ESXi server through iSCSI.
In the Compellent UI: i've created a volume. It, of course, says the volume is offline until you map it to a server. So I selected "map volume to a server" and it lists some objects that are down the list under "servers" but none of them are my ESXi servers. So I go to "create a server" and it can't find any HBAs or anything.
Obviously I am a Compellent newcomer, but I am pretty good with VMware stuff. I have a separate virtual switch with an iSCSI software adapter. Everything seems to be working fine, though the VMs are on local storage and I really want to map this iSCSI volume to the environment.
It would really help if someone could walk me through how to do this, or point me to an easy to understand article or video (I've searched).
New VMware user here, setting up my first environment. I have an ESXi host that has four physical NiCs (NiC0, NiC1, NiC2, NiC3).
I have installed ESXi, the VCVA appliance, and several VMs successfully. They are connected to the local storage currently, but I want to connect to our iSCSI SAN.
Physically NiC0 and NiC1 are connected to our regular network switch. NiC2 and NiC3 are connected to our iSCSI network, which is a separate network. So what I have done is set NiC0 and NiC1 as active for the management network on the ESXi host. I left NiC2 and NiC3 unchecked.
When I use the vSphere client to create the iSCSI connection, it can't see NiC2 or NiC3. Do I need to enable all four NiCs to be able to use them in vSphere?
If I enable NiC2 and NiC3, they say they are disconnected, because they are connected to our iSCSI network and have no regular network connection.
Am I way off track here?
We have an Aruba wireless system with five current access points and a virtual controller. I have just purchased another (Aruba 92) access point and can't get the controller to recognize it. The power LED is blinking green, the Enet LED is blinking amber. The access point is plugged into our HP PoE switch that the other ones are plugged into, but it is not getting an IP from the DHCP server.
The virtual controller version is 5.0.3
I am fairly new to Aruba and any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to join a new Windows 7 PC to my domain, however the Network ID box and radio button are both grayed out. I have verified Internet connectivity, and the DNS settings on the PC point to the DNS server. There are many other PCs on the domain, and I add new ones quite often. I've never experienced this issue before. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I have been attempting to join my Fedora machine to my 2008 AD DS domain (testdomain.lcl) for some time now. I have followed this article:

But with no luck. I have also tried Likewise. The error I am getting is "Error in domain join verification (credential setup failed): NT_Status_Invalid_Computer_Name.
I have one server on which I've set up AD DS, DNS, and DHCP services. I have verified that the Fedora machine is getting an IP and I can do an nslookup to the domain controller.

In Microsoft Active Directory, does DNS look at the forwarders before it goes to the root hints?
