Is there any other Unix like distros that can read and write to ZFS filesystems. I know its currently unstable in FreeBSD :( The reason I am asking is I love ZFS but don't get on so well with Solaris.
My auth.log on my ubuntu server is full with
Unable to open env file: /etc/default/locale: No such file or directory
Any ideas on how to solve?
I have been given the super task of preparing a web site to get hammered....
Or site is drupal based, I have found what could be my answer in the form of Boost. But I can't for the life of me find any information on the Lighttpd rewrite rules to make it function.

My website was moved to a new web server recently.
Its now on Ubuntu 9.04 and when I run
locale
it returns:
locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory
What does the error mean and how do I fix it? I did think it was something to do with libc6 but have since reinstalled it and it hasn't made a difference.
