I am trying to script the installation of the web deployment service (WebDeploy_x64_en-US). There is a quiet flag (/quiet), however it does not install the remote management service by default. I did a "WebDeploy_x64_en-US /?" but I can't see any command line argument for selecting features.
Does any one know how make to WebDeploy_x64_en-US.msi install all the features quietly?

I was trying to backup and restore an ADAM database to a different server the other day. I copied all files under "Program Files/Microsoft ADAM" folder to the same path in the destination server and started the ADAM service in the destination server up.
Although the service come back up successfully and I was able to connect to the instance with ADAM ADSI Edit mmc snap-in, I found I had to reset every single user's password before they can login again.
Has anyone got this issue before? Is the password encrypted with the server IP address or something like that?
I'm trying to install BizTalk Server 2009 on one of our servers. I am reading through the installation guide and I can't believe the Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 are listed in software requirements.
I'm new to BizTalk server and I am just wondering do I really need to install Excel & Visual Studio on a server before I can install BizTalk?
I was trying to install .NET 3.5 SP1 to one of our production machines with Windows 2003 SP2. However, the installer just hang at around 80% with message "Setup is loading installation components, This may take a minute or two". In fact it's been like that for 30mins already and using 0% CPU.
I disabled the anti-virus software and then applied the windows installer 4.5 update but no luck, the installer still hangs.
Anyone had this problem before?
