I have a MacMini that is sitting in the server room which has a docker for mac running on it. I'm able to use docker directly on the machine when I ssh in just fine.

$ docker --version                                                                                                  
Docker version 19.03.5, build 633a0ea

But I would like to connect to the mac minis docker engine from my own computer using docker-machine. I have tried the following command to create the docker-machine.

docker-machine create -d generic \
--generic-ip-address 10.0.0.0 \
--generic-ssh-key ~/.ssh/mysshkey \
--generic-ssh-user myusername \
--generic-ssh-port 22 \
macmini

Error Messages:

Running pre-create checks...
Creating machine...
(macmini) Importing SSH key...
Waiting for machine to be running, this may take a few minutes...
Detecting operating system of created instance...
Waiting for SSH to be available...
Detecting the provisioner...
Error creating machine: Error detecting OS: Error getting SSH command: ssh command error:

output  : cat: /etc/os-release: No such file or directory

Has anyone been able to connect remotely to docker-engine running MacOS Catalina using docker-machine? Any tips or pointers would be appreciated. Thank you!

I'm trying to run ansible with the ec2.py inventory file to make some updates on a fleet of servers. But I keep receiving the error message:

ERROR! Attempted to execute "inventories/ec2.py" as inventory script: Inventory script (inventories/ec2.py) had an execution error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Users/myname/Sites/admin/ansible/inventories/ec2.py", line 130, in <module> from boto import elasticache ImportError: cannot import name elasticache

I have tried to reinstall both ansible via homebrew and boto via pip but to no avail. Looking for any direction on how I can solve this issue.

My setup:

• Mac OSX 10.11.6
• Python 2.7.13
• Ansible 2.3.0.0
• boto 2.46.1

Let say I have the website domain http://myawesomesite.com, and to start I have a ELB setup on the US-EAST Region with 2 instances running my application.

As the site becomes more awesome and I want to start serving my application faster I setup instances in the US-WEST group, with an ELB. How can I forward traffic to the nearest data center?

I started setting up Amazon's Elastic Load Balancing Service for my server pool and I need to setup HTTPS/SSL. I have all my SSL Certificates setup, but then I come to the step for backend authentication and I'm unsure what certificate is required with the "Backend Authentication".

Is it my sites private key, public key, or do I need to generate a new key on the server?
