I'm trying to boot PCs from a Windows 2012R2 WDS server in UEFI mode. it works fine BIOS mode, but I want to boot from UEFI mode.

I have change the boot setting to UEFI mode; secure boot in BIOS.

I am using Dell laptops and when I try to boot from NIC IPv4 under UEFI boot shows as below. 

Checking Media Presence........... Media Present... Start PXE over IPv4.

then it hold for a while to get IP address from DHCP server then fails and prompts to reboot laptop.

I am trying to setup subversion apache 2.4.7 authentication using active directory. where I am finding authzldapauthoritative is more supported in Apache 2.4.x. following are Apache configuration and please tell me the alternative syntax of authzldapauthoritative to configure it.

I installed ubuntu 14.04 with LVM, the disk name was showing properly as I had specified while installation till I performed apt-get updated && upgrade.

Before Upgrade

/dev/mapper/UBUNTU--VG01-UBUNTU--ROOT  37G  1.3G   34G   4% /
/dev/mapper/UBUNTU--VG01-UBUNTU--MNT   93G   60M   88G   1% /MNT

After Upgrade

/dev/dm-0  37G  1.3G   34G   4% /

but /mnt partition name remains as it is.

/dev/mapper/UBUNTU--VG01-UBUNTU--MNT   93G   60M   88G   1% /MNT

Now I need the name which I had specified while installation. How do I rename it.

Please help.

I am running Bugzilla 4.0 on Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS running on physical server & thought of upgrading it to Ubuntu 14.04 on Hyper-V for testing.

After migration of bugzilla webroot 4.0 to Ubuntu 14.04 with MySql 5.1 server to MySql 5.5 & other required application & it started working properly.

But when I deep dived in testing of bugzilla, I found everything synced except bugs which are created by users, but the total count is showed in "Edit Products" section.

Old Server Details: OS: Ubuntu 10.04, Apache2.2, Mysql-Server-5.1, php5

New Server Details: OS: Ubuntu 14.04, Apache2.4.7, Mysql-Server-5.5-49, php5.5.9

PS: Everything was working in test machine, after upgrading below packages, the issue started.

I am trying install chef (chef-server_11.0.4-1.ubuntu.12.04) on ubuntu 12.04.5 64 bit.

After the installation, when I run "chef-server-ctl reconfigure" getting following error.

let me know how to install it.

Here in our company two big departments are getting together. Both have their own svn servers with subversion folder structure and its been created using an application.

Now they are coming up with one structure. Now once after creation of new SVN Repositories with new project id, they want the old repo data in newly created repository as a directory.

Both (New & Old) servers are running Visual SVN Server with standard Edition.

New structure are created using application itself; Later we should add these old data folders to repository.

Can I know how to migrate old repo structured folder to new svn repository.

I know its bit confusing the way I am expressing; but please try to understand & help me to migrate.

A subversion repository size of 5.2 GB with 339 revisions.

When I run the backup using Perl script the end result of file size was 28 GB.

Can I know, how this could be possible. I am confused.

Backup Script below.

I regularly take backups of Subversion. From past 4-5 days I have observed one of our project is giving input/output error while taking backup, Earlier also it has been crashed, I had restored it, From then on its working fine without any issues, The following are the error which I am getting while back-up.

Dumping Subversion repo /svn/1452 to 1452_backup-20130325-0200... svnadmin: Can't write to stream: Input/output error Backing up through revision 6023...

We have Windows 2008 windows server in that we are running VisualSVN Server, Presently it has subversion login authentication which will be authenticated locally.

We are planning to go through Windows AD integration, What is the proper way of migration of users? will I loose any data while migration?

I am not much into windows server administration. Can anybody please guide me in this..

I am trying to mount remote server partition to put backup. I already have th perl script to take backup of data. I trying to add the mount command in the script. The below is the script, Please guide me how to do it.

If I run it on console it works and as well as with bash script. If I run this with perl its show mount error.

I am trying to mount windows machine directory in my ubuntu 10.04.3 server. When I try to see the shared directory in the windows server its showing properly using the below command. The windows mahcine is joined to local domain xyz.com

My doubt is, cant we mount the shared directory which is connected to local domain server? I am getting this error in both smbfs / cifs.

Please help me to solve the issue.

We are running subversion 1.1.4-2 on debian sarge and have many repository. A repo of a client needs to be mirrored with remote server. can anyone please help me how to do that. I am very new to subversion.

Like, we have a subversion server inside firewall and a server in remover (client) place. He needs his repo which is there in our server should get synced.

Please help. Thanks in advance.
